Ram temple in Ayodhya will be inaugurated in the third week of January, between 14th and 24th January.
An official letter for the availability of the PM has been already sent, confirmed Ram Temple trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai.
A member of the temple construction committee has said that the opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is planned to happen between January 14 and January 24. The ceremonies to get ready for the opening will begin on January 14, and the exact opening date will be decided after getting confirmation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a conversation with media, a senior member of the temple trust has revealed that they have proposed conducting the consecration ceremony (‘Pranpratistha’) of Ram Lalla in the temple, which is currently under construction, from January 21 to January 24 next year. An official letter has already been sent to confirm Prime Minister Modi’s availability, as confirmed by Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Ram Temple trust.
Additionally, the trust intends to invite prominent individuals along with the Prime Minister to participate in the ‘Pranpratistha’ ceremony. They also plan to extend invitations to more than 25,000 Hindu religious leaders representing 136 different ‘Sanatan’ traditions for this significant event.
The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is being built and will open its ground floor to devotees in January. It should be finished by 2025. The temple is large, 380 feet long, 250 feet wide, and 161 feet high. Work on the first floor is underway. The foundation was laid in August 2020, overseen by officials. The idol of Ram Lalla will likely be installed in January. The temple is designed so that sunlight falls on Ram Lalla during Ram Navami, and it’s earthquake-resistant.
The temple trust anticipates approximately 10,000 attendees inside the temple for the event. However, on the day of the consecration ceremony, the number of pilgrims could reach into the millions. To manage this large crowd, the district administration has been tasked with ensuring the orderly flow of devotees.
